I'd like to create a track for a sprint event I've entered this weekend.
The start and finish points are different and we do 3 laps per race, passing the finish point twice (passing by a few metres before crossing the timing beam)
I would like to set up the track using the map but can't see anywhere in v20, and can't see any v20 documentation either.

Could anyone offer some tips on how to do this before the event?
We get one "sighting run" so I could use that, but if anything goes wrong with HLT on the sighting lap I won't have a track set up.

In case the distance from Start to Flying Finish is significant, create a go or a standing go trigger here. Create a stop / go trigger centered between the flying finish and the passing line. Setting a stop trigger that fires for the "real" finish only will be next to impossible. This means you need to work with the lap splits you will get from the stop / go trigger. Each run will create one lap from Start to Flying Finish and 2 full laps. When back in the "pits", press Cancel to remove the distance from Flying Finish to the pits. The full run's time will be the sum of the 3 "laps" above. Predictive lap times will not work well as different sections will be compared to each other...

The only change Map received for setting triggers is that "Add" has been replaced by an "+". So the (dated) tutorial on "Tracks" on www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation should work well.
