Application can not be open

Hi Harry,

My friend have a big bug :

* he record timing last week end at SPA with v19 version, application working fine.
* last week, he has update to V20
* today he try to export SPA data to CSV for DASHWARE integration, but the app block on timing table.
* phone no responding, so he reboot the phone
* now when he launch the app, splash screen appear, and block on it, he can't acces app. Can not clik on "accept"

He want to re-install the app, but he want not loss his data ?
Can you help him ?

No idea why it is not responsive. In case your friend ran a backup, including the laps he recorded in Spa, it is probably best to reinstall the app and restore the backup afterwards. Instructions for this (and for the future) are available here: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=3341

The only other idea is the app somehow crashes during startup. Please ask your friend to update to the latest Android LapTimer version available (20.0.2) - which includes a critical fix for the startup phase.

He is already on V20.0.2

he can't do a backup via .hlptrl/.hlptrz because he can't open the app :(

If he uninstall the app all data will be lost ?

Yes, this deletes the data too. Other than for iOS, data can not be accessed without rooting the device. Let me check further logs, maybe I find something...

I receive crash logs in case the user has enabled them.
