I got asked if this new fitness tracker would work with Laptimer too. My guess was, it should since it's Health Kit compatible. It's kind of half a smart watch and seems to use the same type of light based heart rate measuring as the Apple Watch does.

The only requirement for health tracker support in LapTimer is it feed data into iOS's health kit. So if it is HK compatible, it should be fine.
