I am looking to buy a go pro to use with my lap timer because my I phone 6+ is horrible for recording. There are so many go pro's out there, what is the best for road race car use, and also best to work with lap timer. Any help would be appreciated

Any remote controlling is limited to the premium line currently (i.e. HERO3,3+,4 at their time). Any budget models (like the LCD) do not support the interface used by LapTimer. There is hope a versatile interface allowing to control all cams will get available for 3rd parties later this year.
