Hi,
I finally have managed to get my head around the GoPro multi-cam settings however there is one thing i haven't figured out. How do i remove the reference lap PiP when i create the overlay?
i use the following process:
Transfer gopro video to PC.
Import gopro video to iPhone via iTunes.
re-link the laps to newly imported gopro video
I delete the internal cam video to remove pip
I then perform the overlay.
I am assuming i am not removing the pip in the correct manor. Any help would be appreciated.

In case you do not want to get the Reference PiP, deselect that option in Overlay Configuration. The switch (like others) is somewhat hidden... In iOS, swipe to the second page in Overlay Configuration. In Android, scroll down to reveal it.

Thank you for the prompt response.
Another quick question; im using the internal iPhone GPS and accelerometer and have notice the start / finish line is slightly off sync with the gopro video as seen here:
https://youtu.be/2Nm_9qZXTTE This is at Wakefield Park in Australia. Is the off sync in relation to gopro linking or the fact that i should invest in a GPS unit for more accurate timing?
I dont have the internal footage as the is mounted in a way that it only sees the dash.

I assume the start / finish position definition of the track set is slightly off. This is a usual pattern when definition track sets from remote and without track admin's support. On the other hand, it is no real issue, the lap will beginn early and end early.
Investing in a good GPS unit is always a good idea. On the other hand, your video is a good prove great overlaid videos are possible with the internal GPS.

When going into data recording, an external GPS will be mandatory. For video and lap timing, the internal one is usually just fine and super easy to handle.

I never found it anywhere, so but i have maybe a little bit dumb question: how exactly overlay between GoPro and phone works (in my case Android)? Recorded video is transfered by WiFi into phone and then processed with HLT or what?. I dont have GoPro yet, but im thinking about to buy one.

The process using a GoPro is described in detail in LapTimer's Video Documentation. It is available on
