Multi Cam Feature

I’ve been using the lap timer app for the last three years and love it. I just got a Hero3+ Silver and will use the multi-cam feature for PIP. To clarify I currently use Kiwi-Wi-Fi for OBD II, am I right in assuming that the app can only connect to one Wi-Fi accessory at a time? If so I guess I either trade up to the Hero4 with blue tooth or stay with the hero3+ and get a Bluetooth dongle correct? What the best blue tooth dongle that you know of?

Thanks.
Correct, you can connect your smartphone to one WiFi accessory at a time only. The HERO4 uses a combination from BT and WiFi and will not provide a workaround. Two options: use a BT OBD (see
www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/ios or android), or operate the H3+ manually. The process to integrate footage recorded manually is described in Video Documentation (see Documentation on the web site).

I've tried a few OBD-II dongles and by far the best I've found is the GoPoint BT-1 Bluetooth. It's expensive at $120.00 (U.S.) but it links flawlessly with HLT on an iPhone. Since it's Bluetooth, you can simultaneously use the iPhone's wifi connection to link a multicam Go Pro camera for PIP.
