Joiniing video into lap - Overlay error

So I used a GoPro for video and edited it down to particular lap as a .mp4 vid. I put said vid into Android HTC One video directory. I can the video and play it in the Gallery. But when I pick or try to associate the video with the any lap under Lap Laplist, I get a NO VID symbol (hope this makes sense). The video also has a RED ! by it and not sure what that means??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The red marker means the video is not referenced by any lap currently. The lap in turn references a video with a different name. To make the link work, select the lap from Lap List, select the NO VIDEO symbol, select Re-Link and select the video transferred.

Thanks Harry for the fast reply!!! But I click on the NO VID symbol and it just takes me to the video details page and in there I click the NO vid and it trys to play video but fails. There are about a 100 laps on my phone that have no video associated with them and I can pick any lap and I'll get the same problem.
Sorry if I'm an idiot

Thanks for the help!!

You didn't use Re-Link in Video Details.
select the lap from Lap List, select the NO VIDEO symbol, select Re-Link and select the video transferred
The Re-Link button is in the top right of Video Details. Pressing it will bring up the list of video you can select from.

Seems it just doesn't like that video for some reason. I put a different video into the phones directory and I can choose it just fine. I'll redo my video and see if it got corrupt for some reason.
Thanks for the help!!

Ok, I managed to figure out that something weird was happening to my edited video and I needed to use a different editor to get what HLT wanted even though both were .mp4 formats. So I got the overlay to work fine but on the wrong lap since the original lap was all messed up with "NO VID" files. See the first image below with 3 NO Vids. 1 master and 2 pic in pics. If I go to the video itself, I do not have a re-link icon in the upper right. Only a trashcan symbol shown in 2nd pic. If I use the trashcan icon, it jumps me back to Lap number view as shown in first pic. Any ideas how to remove these??
Here's what I did get to work. I'm new and really slow on the track!

Relinking should be offered when navigating from Lap List / Lap Details / Preview. It is not available when navigating from Video List.

But that's the problem is that I am under Lap List/Lap details and re-link is not there. It is there, if there is a valid video but not in this case.

I checked the code... The Re-Link button is hidden in case the video is marked as overlaid (i.e. not a raw / original video). In the lap shown in your snapshot, the video is shown as a raw video, maybe the type has been adjusted elsewhere? It is possible (but strongly discouraged) to change video types from Video List ‣ Video ‣ Overlay Type.
Maybe you want to write down the Sync Position of this lap and add the video from scratch...
1) Goto Lap List ‣ Lap details, memorize lap #, select NO VIDEO, scroll to bottom, write down the sync time shown for this lap #
2) Return to Lap details and delete the video reference (long press, delete in action menu)
3) Press +VIDEO and add the video you want to re-link to, set the sync time written down
4) Agree to adjust all laps in session when asked
Going through this 4 steps is actually the same like doing the Re-Link.
