These guys sold a product using your app as the hook. Now for months they lead us Android users on. And keep blaming you and other developers as the problem.

I use PLX, Race Capture, Automatic and others.

Automatic has been the one leading on people to avoid product returns.

The blog linked is not critical from my point of view, there is nothing wrong about it. The Android SDK is available for some weeks already, but it is quite some effort to integrate it and I could not prioritized it for the Android side so far. I do not have the Automatic adapter listed as compatible device for Android either.

I take care every platform has a good set of sensors available. This is the case for both Android and iOS currently (see http://www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/ios and http://www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/android). iOS is a bit limited due to the requirement to certify adapters (Mfi) with Apple. This is the reason I raise prioritity for any Mfi adapter getting available (like the Automatic). For Android, there are many adapters available, so there is less pain.

I have a list of 5 proprietary adapters listed for integration currently, and literally hundreds of other feature request. I will add Automatic support for Android once I see enough votes and see enough benefit.
