I used Lap Timer on my OnePlus One for the first time recently and I discovered that the hardware is not supported for video encoding. Despite the amount of power the phone has, it takes approx 2h to overlay a 2min video. My old Sony Xperia did better back in the days.

Is that something planned to be added to Lap Timer?

Hardware acceleration for Android is going to be implemented but will be only available for versions 4.4 or later.
