Lock auto focus

I've just started playing with the Lap Timer and so far I'm very impressed. One thing that I'm seeing that I'm not sure you can do about is my video will lose and refocus every few seconds sometimes. When using the built in Apple Camera app, there is the option of locking the auto focus and auto exposure settings by tapping and holding a location on the screen. I would love to see this functionality available in the video recording feature of the Lap Timer app.

I would like that function too !! Very annoying, happens a lot if your windscreen isn't 'crystal clear'...

Same here. Refocusing sometimes spoils onboard video as it is done every few seconds

I will try to integrate a stable fixed focus function in v15. Until then - clean your windscreens
Just watched a FullHD video I've recorded on Nordschleife with an iPhone4S lately - no autofocus adjustments at all here.

I am voting for a focus-lock, since I also suffer from this problem (iPhone4 non-S). Thanks Harry!

Oh, man, I didn't realize this was caused by the autofocus. I thought it was just going out of focus because of the phone not being secure enough in my mount (Bubo). Glad I didn't do anything extreme to fix it!
