Splits

How do I setup to get splits. I get the splits when I uses one track (Nelson Ledges) but when I go to Mid-Ohio I get no splits. I'm sure it's something simple but I don't see it. Thanks.

Hi,
In case you have first hand information on some "official" split coordinates, please drop us a mail at
Tracks@gps-laptimer.de
We will schedule the Mid-Ohio for some generic split additions otherwise.

Does that mean that at some point you entered splits at Nelson Ledges but not at Mid-Ohio? That seems unusual considering Mid-Ohio is a "real" track with real races and Nelson's is just a local track with some club racing.

It is actually the other way around. For tracks we added early (5 or 6 years ago), splits were rare. All tracks we add now get splits from the beginning. So it is well possible a prominent track still misses triggers. We get augmented track sets submitted by users frequently and add them. But this does not make sure we have them everywhere already.

Hi there,
just added splits to Mid-Ohio (with and w/o Chicane configuration) - please just refresh the track via: 'add-ons', 'Update' list via the button at the right top, search for the track e.g. via ‚Mid' and download the track.

Thanks. So the splits will work next time I'm at Mid-Ohio.
Can I get splits using older data?

Works like a charm. I've done it with autocross data. If I don't like where the splits are, I can even move them and recalculate.
