Although my phone picks up my location for maps and trips the Lap Timer does not seem to pick up my location for some reason. Are there some settings I need to change or is there an issue with the Galaxy 6S GPS working?
Thank you,
Kevin

There is no special setting and the G6 should certainly work...
To start from the beginning, please post a screen snapshot of both the GPS View and the Health Status (touch upper gadget in LapTimer - Race.

Here is a picture of the GPS page. LTE connection but no GPS. I don't know where the other one you requested is located.
Thank you,

You get the first one when touching the red alert in the second.

Definitely Galaxy 6S. I got 2 weeks ago at Sprint. I have 2 new pictures for you. Hope it helps. Maybe I am just in a bad reception area but it is weird that the GPS finds me for programs like google maps for driving directions.
Thank you,

I apologize. I uploaded the manual for the phone and I have found that my phone was set to wifi and mobile networks to find location. The GPS was turned off. Making that simple box check made everything work. Lots of numbers on the GPS page of the app now. My next day off is Friday and I will run my little made up road course to test the device with video. Since I have your attention, is it normal to have a 3 hr est. overly time on Android for a 7 minute video?
Thank you,

Makes sense, LapTimer doesn't use triangulation locations like other apps because they are not usable for track purpose.
For a S6, the three hour estimate is too high, should be around 1 hour. This will change with the next feature release which is planned to come with hardware acceleration for recent Android phones.
