Recovering database from defective Android phone

Hi Harry,
I just broke my Android phone. The touchscreen is not working anymore, even though the phone is still operating and the memory is still accessible via USB. Is there any possibility to save my HLT data via USB on a Windows PC and put into usage again on a new phone?

In case you can access LapTimer's data directory, copy all .pdb files, zip them, and send them to me. I case create a .hlptrl file from it you can import into a new installation. The problem is you will need a rooted device to access the sandbox data...

Damn ... the screen lock doesn't allow access to the file system ... any idea?

I cannot help too much here. You probably need someone nearby knowing Android developer tools to access the data...

I found a very easy solution to overcome the screen lock - you can connect a mouse via USB-to-go and use it instead of the touch functionality. Doing so, it was very easy to upload my data into dropbox and recover it
Of course, this was only possible because only the touch functionality didn't work any more, but the screen was still showing a picture.
