Missing Files?

I have an Iphone 5 and I was trying to use the laptimer today. I did see my lap times logged earlier but didn't get a chance to look at it closely. I was having issues with it today. The track map never showed up when I was in video mode, and now I get home and the lap list is empty!!! Where did all my lap info go? Is it hiding somewhere in my phone? The battery did die in the phone while recording. Would that make it lose everything, even from previous sessions. So far, I am not so thrilled with this. How do you even turn it off once the recording starts and you are still on the track but you want to stop it because you know your phone is going to die. I could not get the recording to stop.
Very Disappointed!!

Firstly, please always use a power adapter and a stable mount to you windscreen when using LapTimer. That's kind of the minimum set of hardware.
To restore the laps, please read the HOW-TO Restore automatic backups (or similar) some posts above here in Troubleshooting. It will guide you through the restore process.
To stop LapTimer once it has been triggered and is active (includes standard cool down scenario when coming back from the last lap, to the pits), press the Cancel button available in Timer View. In case you had the Video View active, close it using the top right close button to get back to Timer View.
The track map shows up once at least one lap is recorded including GPS data. LapTimer does not come with complete track shapes, so you record them yourself. In case you didn't see the shape even for your second lap, there is probably something wrong with your GPS. Recheck the mount position - never wear the smartphone in your cloth or place it somewhere inside the car center console etc. It needs to be in the windscreen as far to the front as possible.

Thanks. I will go through this process when I get off of work. I need to read up on how to use the APP. I don't think I can have it powered without a cable going by the shifter. Well, I'll just have to tape it down around it but one club I go with frowns on anything being in the car. We'll see what they say.
I am a little worried about the track map not showing up when I did the video. I had it mounted as far forward as possible on the dash. I did see the green dot move over where the map should have been. Others that were using the timer and loaded Thunderhill 3 mile with Cyclone had the map pop up right away. I reloaded the track and still nothing. I was using the grand prix edition though and they otheres had the Petrol Head I believe. I got GP so I could do stuff with the GoPro, but that seems complicated. LOL.
I need to read up on how to use it. I was hoping that I could video with the GoPro and overlay the Lap Timer info on the GoPro Video without videoing on my phone since it doesn't have much memory.
Thanks, hopefully I will at least get my lap times back.

Switch the internal cams res to a minimum and delete the session video after each session - or start the GoPro manually and operate LapTimer without video.
In case the track map does not show up after one lap, you may have an incomplete lap in the track's section in Lap List. If LapTimer chooses such a lap for the preview, it may show up empty. It is no GP vs Petrolhead topic, except features available, they are always based on the same code.
As a last note: this track shape during real time preview is - just a preview. When overlaying a lap to video later, LapTimer will always use the lap's individual data. Track sets loaded are a small set of individual positions for start/finish etc, but not a complete plot usable for overlays. This means loading a tracks set does not change the preview - it is all about actual recordings.

How do I do this?
9.Copy all .pdb files from the restore candidate up to the Documents folder.
I deleted all of the .pdb files from the Documents folder. I have 3 recovery folders in the Documents folder. I see a bunch of .pdb files in them, but I can't copy and paste them from the recovery folder into the documents folder. I can't see any way to move the files. I exported them to my desktop so I have them. I also see .mov files in there so it has my videos. I really want to get the data overlayed. This is looking promising, but I just can't get iBrowse to do what I need to. Sorry, I am not good at this stuff.
Thanks

For iBrowse it seems you need to export the files to the desktop first and copy them back to the Documents folder afterwards.
