App Crash

Hi

After my first session using the app I am a little disappointed.

I am using an iPhone 6 128GB.

I did a couple of sessions at the weekend, one with video and one without. Every time I try and do anything video related, the app crashes. For instance if I go to 'More' then 'Video List' the app locks up, I can't scroll or select anything. I have to properly close the app and reload to be able to use it again, and going back to this part of the menu has the same result each time. You can see the video looks to be there ~900mb, although there is a red exclamation ! mark next to it which I'm not sure that means?

I had it set to full HD, is this the issue? Can the app not handle the file sizes?

Also when the app has crashed I have lost all of my lap time data. On the home screen I am back on 0 laps, 0 sessions etc. Is this something that I can retrieve?

Any advice?

Thanks

Hi,

I have seen this effect on iOS8 intermittently. It seem this is an issue with iOS's media library. You can work around the issue by removing photo / video access privileges (which in turn disables LapTimer's video capabilities). I'm aware this is not a good option, but one that makes the complete system stable. I got my hands on a user's device showing this effect shortly. For his device, iTunes hasn't been able to synchronize either - which sounds like some media library corruption.
