Video support in portrait orientation

Post by carramrod »

I've got iOS GP version, so I'm using my GoPro3Black as my primary video recording source. As such, I don't need my iPhone5S to be mounted on my windshield, instead it can stay in it's regular spot on my dash holder that's portrait mode. The issue is that I can't seem to find a way to activate the video mode while in portrait. I realize the video from the iPhone will be useless, but it will be deleted anyway to make room for the GoPro video.

Ideas? Thanks!

You may rotate to landscape, activate video, press "Record Auto" and rotate back to portrait in Timer View... I have never tested this, so in case it doesn't work, please use landscape as long as internal and external video recording are not de-coupled.
