Data recovery

I uninstalled Android Petrolhead when my phone was overheating and locking up. Upon re-installation, my lap data was gone. Video files are still there. Is there some way to recover the laps?
Data recordings are stored in the app's sandbox. Once you delete the app, data is deleted too.
