I will be buying my IPhone 6 tomorrow. I have a few areas which I hope you can comment on:

1. With the A8 processor, do you anticipate benefits other than possible processing speed as the chip still only has 1GB memory?
2. With the new 1080P 30/60FPS capture speeds, do you have a view on getting 64GB or 128GB phone
3. Apple moved from iCloud to ICloud Drive. Is the functionality in HLT be the same with iCloud Drive?
4. When HLT desktop version is released, does this change the need for storage on the phone
5. Any other thoughts, observations, other?
6. When processing a full track session ( 20, 15 laps) sometimes the conversion abends/stops. Picking a smaller number of laps usually fixes issue, do you see with new Iphone this issue will stop or will it be faster processor but limitation is the 1GB processor memory.


What I am seeing now with my 5S with master at 1080P @30FPS and two multicams at 720P @30FPS on a track weekend with 6 hours of video, I am in the 50-64GB range.

Hi,

1. The iPhone6 is said to be around 20% faster than the 5S (which is very fast).
2. I do not see a need to use 60Hz regularly. You can't see this anyway. It is thought for footage to be shown in slow-motion. 64 GB will be fine - just like now. But more is always better
3. No plans yet
4. No - except for the space during overlaying
5. I expect the Cinematic stabilizer to be well suited for track recordings - but needs to be tested. I will add that feature to 18.3.3
6. Known bug in media server growing unlimited. Keep my fingers cross Apple fixed that in iOS8

Clarify if I set HLT to transfer using ICloud will the same functionality work as Apple replace ICloud with iCloud DRIVE?

With ICloud DRIVER you can now buy storage on a month to month basis. So 200gb for $USD 3.99 a month during track months may be easier than manual Mac file transfers.
