Overlay Software? Help! Stuck!

Hey all,
I used my HLT to get the data this weekend from a track session without using video. I'm using a GoPro 3 Black edition as my video source. I didn't know it could sync via wifi so I did not use that. So now I have the video file, and the data on my phone for the information.
My question is how do I now overlay the data onto the GoPro video? I've tried moving the video to my phone but when I go to video it shows up in HLT but when I go to the lap times there is no Overlay options like I see some others have? I've also downloaded Circuit Tools 2 and have exported the VBO from HLT. This works great and seems to import into Circuit Tools but I can't get Circuit Tools to import the GoPro video.
What am I missing? Is there better software to combine the two?

Select any lap covered by the video in Lap List. What needs to be done is associating this lap (and other laps in the same session) with this video. To do this, press Edit and New Video in iOS and +Video in Android. Select the video from the list and mark the *end* of the lap in the video when asked.
