Everytime I go into lap details it asks to synch up the end point. Which I do and then it ask for lap or session I tell it session. Then I'm never given an "overlay" button what am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Hi,
Are you sure you just go into Lap List / Lap Details and not somewhere into Video List or Details?

Thanks Harry that seems to be the issue it's working now. I'm new to the app. It's amazing. I realized that I filmed in Portrait vs landscape so I would think there is not a way to flip it 90? I've seen posts around 180 being software and a meta flag can it be tweaked for 90 in some manner so the overlay makes more sense?

You can rotate videos, but the portrait format is actually not compatible with LapTimer's overlay routines. It is simply not a common orientation.

On iOS this App works fine for me, it's free and can also do 90°:

Any idea if it changes metadata only (fast, but may show compatibility issues) or physically rotates the video (slow, some loss in quality).

Both modes are available, the quick one only does meta stuff and works fine for me on iOS, the slow mode recodes the video and should be compatible on all devices.
