Hi Harry,
I have racerender 2 full and 3 trial version.
I have had success using RR2 but recently there was an issue with the speed freezing 1/2 way through a lap,
even though the excel file looks ok. So i thought it was a RR issue.
I downloaded the trial version of RR3. that particular harrys file worked on in RR3.
i just got back from the track again and now the speed doesnt work in both RR2 and RR3.
I have been constantly updating the laptimer app.

Both RR versions work fine with my older harrys excel files, but the speed is an issue since updating the app.

Attached is an exported file from today.

Any ideas?

Attachment is missing. As long as the export looks o.k. it is a mapping problem from CSV to Racerender that needs to be adjusted in the tool. There where some minor changes to CSV export lately but not related to speed.

I am waiting to hear back from them.
I agree that it sounds like a breakdown in the csv interpretation in RR.
But it seems very weird that old csv files work fine and newer ones from updated harrys app dont.
I can grab any csv from previous to a few updates ago and create a new RR project fine.
Ill let you know what they say.

The file wont attach because it is too big.

Compare the first line in an old and a new file to see the differences.

The only difference i can see is the new ones have index in column a.
The old ones have lap index in column a and no index.
If i copy and paste all the cells from columns b onwards in the new ones and paste onto a so it looks exactly there same as the old one it still doesnt work.
Another thing of note is the track map in the new ones is wrong, it looks close but its like drawing it with strait lines not curves.
Can you pm me your email so i can post you both new and old csv's if you have the time to take a look.

Just send them to Harry@gps-laptimer.de Lines instead of curves usual means GPS drop outs.

When i delete the data from the wrong date it works fine.
