This weekend at Thunderhill I recorded 2 sessions. Great feedback!
One session produces full maps and seems complete.
None of the maps from the laps in the other session show any of the lateral acceleration (no shading in any color). The map is just a thin line. All I can see are the mph.
Did I accidentally change a setting?
Is there anything I can do to avoid this in the future?

Calibration issue. This happens mostly when turning the device or adjusting it in the mount while driving already. So to work around, always mount the smartphone while standing still. In case the accelerate shown is n/a or the acceleration is not centered in video view, touch the circle / press the Max G field to start calibration over.

You can recover your second session's acceleration too: select any lap from the second session from Lap List, scroll down to "Recalculate", select "Acceleration", adjust slider to make it look meaningful, and confirm you want to apply the recalculation to the whole session.
