Start Driving - Video vs Detailed data mode

Post by llan981 »

I have my IPOD on the windscreen set up horizontally. When I start HLT and press "Start Driving" it defaults to the Lap/sector/Lap vs best lap/sector vs best lap mode. In a few seconds, I get the option to select Video.

How do I stay in the data mode view but still be able to either manually start the master/multicam or have it autostart? Must I be in Video mode the whole time?

To have it auto start, select Video and return to Timer using the Record Auto button. Once back, make sure the red cross in the video icon is gone.

To manually start from Timer View, please enable Manual Timing in Settings. The will reveal an additional Go button in Timer View.

Sometimes it is hard to test until you get to the track. Are you saying if I select Auto start in the video screen it reverts back to the data screen automatically? How long does it take after I hit the auto-start button?
