Master video error when overlaying best lap

Hi Harry :) first time user, great app btw

I'm using Petrolhead version on my Galaxy S4 (w/ 64GB external SD card).

When I try to overlay my best lap (just 1 single lap time), it gives me below error message.
"Master video either is not available, or misses the video or audio track. Please check video List for alternatives or download"

Video is fine, when I play the raw video from the list.
Also, when I use RaceRender3 to overlay my video, audio seems fine.

Can you help me??? thanks :)

Hi,

Thanks for the detailed snapshots. The reason for the invalid master video is the video file is too big to be processed (3.9 GB). It is no audio issue. Currently, there is a 2 GB limit for video processing. I still work on this limitation. To work around, you may convert the video to a lower resolution. To do this, copy the video to your desktop, convert it using some video editor (e.g. from Full HD to HD) and store the result in the same position and with the same name as the original file. Keep a copy on your desktop for later. Try "Handbrake" for the conversion.

I'm having the same error message, but not from file being too big. I am just trying to overlay one lap and getting the message. Also, all my prior video I have ever recorded is giving this message, I never had this message with the old video before, but now I do. Please help! Thanks!

Hi,

This is an old thread and your issue is most probably not related.
The most frequent issue with video handling I receive currently, are some incompatibilities with the new hardware accelerated encoders integrated. So one option you have is switching back to the software method by ticking LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Settings ‣ Expert Settings ‣ Video Tweaks ‣ Force Software Encoding.
