I accidentally deleted the video associated with my session. Is there any way to get it back? I also performed an overlay on a lap, it completed 100%, transferred to my video library, and I can't find it in there.
It's my first track day with the app, and I'm dying that I deleted the session with my quickest lap. Help a Newbie PLEASE!!!!

The overlaid video goes to the Photo library. Please check the Camera Roll section. I assume the video deleted cannot be recovered easily. The files are stored in the Documents folder of the app. Deleting the video is a simple file deletion.

Thanks for the reply. I accidentally deleted the video inside of HLT. Can I recover that? I had a camera on the outside quarter panel of the car, so I'll use that to overlay my data if I can't get the iPhone video. I'll just do some studying on how to overlay and sync with an external video.
As for the overlay problem I was having, I went back and overlaid the lap for a fourth attempt, and it somehow worked. Nothing was showing up in my photo library before. Don't know what happened previously, but I'm happy now. I am shocked at the speed of the mph updates on the overlaid video using the phone GPS with a clear view of the sky. No skips or delays at all.
Thanks for an amazing product and value. I'll start up a YouTube account to get HLT some more exposure.

Thanks Danny. Deleting a video within LapTimer means it is deleted from the file system. So you need to use the external video this time.

I'm trying to get the external video (recorded with a GoPro) onto my iPhone. I modified the original video using Windows Movie Maker, and now I can't get the movie to play on my iPhone. I shortened the video significantly to save space on the phone to allow for the overlay. I can watch the modified video on my phone while it is in Dropbox, but I can't get the file into my photo library. The phone tells me the format is not supported, even though I used a second program to convert the file to a .mov like the files the iPhone creates. I can't move it into the iCloud file either. I still have the raw video in case I need to change how it was edited.
I apologize for my ignorance, but with education... ignorance is temporary.

Please try "Handbrake" and use one of the iPhone profiles / presets for conversion. I assume Dropbox brings its own decoders, so it may behave different to the Photo app and LapTimer.

OMG!!! I finally got the video into my phone, figured out how to sync the external video for the entire session, overlaid one of the early laps in the session that I didn't care about to see if it worked, AND IT DID!!!!! I then overlaid the fastest laps of my session, and I'm all set. The fact that it was 2:30 am when I was done doesn't matter now.
Thanks so much for your help.
