Hi Harry
using an iphone 4s 16gig at the moment with 3 gig spare, due for an upgrade to 5s would a 32gig be sufficient for general useage of HLT or do I need to go for a 64 gig

That's difficult to answer in general. Storage demand is mainly from video and video processing. For most users a 32GB will be o.k. but you will run into shortage from time to time. With 64GB you are secure - mostly.
