Grand Prix Edition crashes iOS7.1

Post by davo34 »

HLT crashes when overlay with Picture in Picture (this was the reason for upgrading to the GP edition) on iPhone 4s with iOS7.1.1. Crash is around 90% progress. No HLT crash logs, only a LowMemory log, which I shall send to you via email.
Have closed all other apps, rebooted phone, can't think of any other way to release more memory...
Overlay works if P-in-P disabled.

Grand Prix Edition crashes iOS7.1

I will check a PiP overlay with the memory analyzer again. This is the problem with the media server in iOS7. When accessing media (video) a lot, the server grows in memory which in turn lets iOS kill apps... The 4S has only 512 MB main memory and is hit by this problem early.

Thanks Harry, sure hope you can come up with a work-around. I already purchased the Go Pro...
