Overall acceleration display shows lateral g where as the trace when you click on it is for longitudinal!
Can we have the choice of what it displays? Lat or long

It is overall acceleration shown with its dominant lateral direction!

I see. I've not seen it move at all on acceleration! ?

The full truth is:

1. in case lateral acceleration is very small (neither left of right), the bar shows nothing
2. in case one of the lateral acceleration directions is significant, the bar is displayed to this side; the length of the bar is the magnitude of the overall acceleration vector
