How get Corner/Straight speeds to show in Android Petrolhead

I used petrolhead on track for the first time last week. One function I was looking forward to use was the corner and straight speed display but they never showed up and I couldn't find any setting that I should change to turn this function on. What did I do wrong?

The corner and straight speeds are displayed in overlaid videos (just overlay a video recorded for Lap Details) and in LapTimer's data recording area: to analyze a lap, select it from Lap List, select the preview track shape. In case you do not get the speeds displayed directly, either zoom in or change the zoom level speeds appear: select the small wrench in the top of the map chart to find a slider to adjust the level of visibility.
