2 questions:

1. Prior to my session, I made sure BT & Wifi were on, all devices were detected and connected. Multicam discovery was enabled. Everything was good to go, but I quickly double tapped home button to switch to a different app. I did NOT quit HLT. I then switch back to HLT and begin my session. Unfortunately, only main camera (iPhone) recorded and 2nd camera (GoPro) never recorded. By double tapping Home button and switching apps (even though HLT running in background) -- does that disable Multicam discovery?

2. When 2nd cam (GoPro) is detected and you see GoPro icon in corner -- do I NEED to press Auto Record in order for both device (iPhone & GoPro) to record video? I thought user only needs to press Auto Record for background recording. Normally I press Auto Record when I use GoPro as main camera and want to see lap times while driving. However this past weekend I actually wanted both devices to record so I didn't press Auto. As a result, NO laps were recorded (times nor video), very frustrating

1. Pressing the Home button (or double pressing it) will background LapTimer temporary. In situations like this, LapTimer closes all connections to free up all resources it locked. The problem is probably the special situation you had the Video View active at this time. MultiCam connections are made when Video View is opened. LapTimer does not poll availability of MultiCam counterparts all the time to not disturb existing connections... So sending LT to background close the connection and foregrounding it again showed the Video View but did not reconnect (as it has been up already). I will check if this theory is valid and add a fix to a future release. As a workaround, in case you close LapTimer while in Video View with MC connected, and make it active again, close the Video View using the close button and bring it up again using the "Video" button (triggering MC discovery).

2. No. You can either stay in Video View (Standard Mode) OR press Auto Record (Background Mode). Both will record using the internal cam plus MC devices when LapTimer starts the next lap.

Thanks Harry, last question but more general Apple iTunes related. I imported a video from my GoPro 3 sd card. Recorded in 1080p, 17 mins long. Successfully imported to iTunes, yet despite numerous attempts, I cannot synchronize with my iphone 5. Every other photo and video copy over but this one particular new file/video won't copy. The photo section of iTunes (under iPhone) recognizes the correct total number of photos but when I sync, it only copies total minus that one photo.

I've done this before without issue, the only thing I recall being different in my "process" is that under GoPro settings (in the GoPro app) I remember unchecking the option to include date / location information for ant recorded videos.

A format problem, the file needs to be in .mov format for iOS. Search for the ffmpeg command line tool to do the conversion:

C:\> ffmpeg -i <yourvideo> <videoForiOS>.mov

There are several other tools that will do that for you (on MacOSX, you can use the Quicktime player and store it to the iPhone/iTV preset).

Thanks again, finally got it to work. GoPro default file type is .mp4. I tried resaving/exporting the file with QuickTime as .mov but the file still would not copy. I final tried using your suggesting of the iPhone preset on Quicktime and it converted file to .m4v and it successfully synchronized with my iPhone.
