I am about to run Spring Mountain in the 3.4 mile configuration but the version on HLT has a different layout, a couple turns are added and a couple removed, (since this track can be configured in about a dozen different ways.)
What is the best way to run this app at the track? Should I use a preset map even if it is missing some points (will it figure it out or completely mess me up?)?
Is there a method to just use regular GPS and not a pre-set track, would this be my best bet?
All help is appreciated, I wasn't sure what subject too use for a search for this issue.
Should I use on this track?

Re: Should I use on this track?
Hi, as long as the start / finish line matches, the existing track sets will work for a different configuration. Your laps will not show up in the hall of fame as the distance driven will not match the track set's standard - that's the downside.
The correct way to handle this would be to load an existing track set, rename it for your configuration, adjust bends and splits, and submit / certify it for a new track set. Please check the home page at www.gps-laptimer.de and follow LapTimer Documentation / Tracks for a tutorial.
