Hall of fame

I am using Lap Timer with great interet and I am discovering one by one all of the possibilities. It is a really good application for all gentlemen drivers.

Coming to my post, I have noticed that there might be some bugs in the Hall of fame. It shows some errors in the times recorded.
Just as an example and while reading the Spa Francorchamp's Hall of fame, we can read that more than hundred gentlemen drivers are faster than Michael Schumacher's record of 1'43"726 !
I have also noticed that on many day Hall of fame, the first recorded times are generally too low compared to the track general times.
Is there any way to delete the unproper times recorded? Specially in the "best lap records" where after adding up all times, it is hard to find the first realistic one.

LapTimer utilizes some filters to get rid of invalid lap times. One of this filters is verifying the distance driven against a track set standard length. As not all track sets have this track length set (like Spa), these filter is not available in general. I just came across Spa this evening and I have added a standard distance (which will be propagated soon) already. So in a few days, you will see a distance filter row next to "Pilotes".

Yes. Thanks.
Now we can read and evaluate realistic times made by Gentleman Driver using Lap Timer.
It is really much better.

As written above, the overall distance of a track set is not available for each track in the database. So in case someone watches a track without the distance filter available and knows the distance the configuration has, please drop me a note!

Good morning, Many tracks in France are without distance filters, like Le Mans Bugatti, Dijon,Les Ecuyers,...
Is it possible to check that, because the "Hall of Fame" is not consistent.
Thank you very much in advance

When adding new tracks, I usually check if I can get my hands on some distance information (mainly Internet). In case I can't find it (and do not add it as a consequence), I need your feedback. Just send the track name / id and the overall distance for the particular configuration, and I will add it within a minute :-)

Hi
I have used the following tracks in France where the same "lap times recorded" are too far from realistic ones :
Croix en Ternois 1.900 M
Abbeville 2.400 M
Folembray 2.050 M

Hoping that these informations can help you

Hi,

The three named tracks actually had the distance listed in the text description :-) I have added the distances to the server, please Update your Add-ons list and try again.

Hi
I have checked the 3 tracks.
Only Folembray does not seem ok.
The first time in Hall of fame is about half the best "top" time
