Good Morning,

I have searched for the topic but did not find the answer I was looking for.

Looking at a potential switch from iPhone to Android phone - how can I best copy my data from my iPhone to a new Android phone?

I read some remark the binary database can be copied - which will ideally copy cars, laps, etc?!

It would be especially helpful if I could use a PC to download/upload to my phones as my iPhone will be gone once I get my new Android phone.

As I will keep my iPad - I would also welcome maybe a hint on how to get a full db copy from iPhone to iPad ( and maybe then onwards later to Android)...

Will my Gopoint BT1 work as well still? Not sure I read the posts on BT1 vs BT1A correctly.

On your iOS device go to the laps list and look for the export button at the bottom. There you should select all on top and .hlptrl as data format. Send that file to an email available on the Androis device and open the attachment with Laptimer.
I guess the cars should be in the file too.
If I remember right, BT1 is iOS only and BT1A is iOS and Android compatible.

Yes, thank you. I tested sending the export from iPhone to Ipad and got my laps and cars copied. Perfect! regarding the BT1 it seems indeed that Imwould need a BT1A for Android. Since some friend has good experience with a cheap ELM327 OBD dongle I will not invest into another Expensive Gopoint device but test an ELM dongle instead, then sell the BT1. Since my XGPS150 should do fine with Android I don't see a benefit to switch GPS sensor to 10 Hz, would only double the amount of data.
