Without GoPoint, best option for Mfi BT?

I'm tired of trying to get my Kiwi to work consistently, so I've decided to go with a Bluetooth, MFI for my iPhone5. On Harry's compatibility page, his first choice is GoPoint. But, it seems they have been "acquired" and I can't seem to order their product from their website or Amazon.

What's the next best thing, now? When I search Amazon, Xtool iobd2 continuously comes up ($70 USD). It's MFI, and they have an app listed on iTunes. I've done some research and read the following specs:

Supported OBDII Protocols:

1. ISO15765-4 (CAN)
2. ISO14230-4 (KWP2000)
3. ISO9141-2
4. J1850 VPW
5. J1850 PWM

I can't find much that shows it will work with HLT, and I'm worried their interface may be proprietary to their app? There was another thread, last year, that said this unit would NOT work with HLT. Has anyone used this BT OBD2? Harry, what is your current suggestion, as it appears GoPoint is no longer and option?

The BT1 is the only BT dongle compatible with LapTimer on iOS. I have no update in GoPoint but poll regularly. This one looks promising as they worked on the wifi connection:

Not yet available however.

I'm unhappy with the WiFi solution, hence my search for a BT obd2. So, if I read you correctly, the only Bluetooth compatible dongle is no longer available?

Yes. There are 2 or 3 other BT OBDs around certified by Apple, by they all come with a proprietary interface (or no public interface at all). I plan a plug in concept for LapTimer so hardware manufacturers can add their sensors. I need to stick with a small number of protocols I do myself.

Any idea of a timeframe when a BT will be available?
