During video mode it's hard to see your lap time and fastest lap. I find myself squinting to see my lap time which isn't necessarily safe. Would it be possible to provide a larger current and fastest lap display while in video mode? Or maybe allow exiting of the video mode, but still filming, but in racer or timer mode.

The video view is designed to mimic the later video including overlay. It is actually not very usable on track.
I have a Timer-like landscape view on my list for one of the future version that addresses exactly your request.
