I exported over 1,500 laps of data from my iPod 3rd generation (32GB) and want to import these laps into my new iPod 5th generation (64GB), on which I plan to record new laps with video.

Specifically, how do I import these data into the iPod 5? I've seen numerous statements that import can be done (including Harry's reply to my post on December 19, 2013), but I have not been able to find specific directions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Forward the mail including the .hlptrl or .hlptrz attachments to the mail account you can read on your new iPod5. Long-press the attachment from the Mail app, and select LapTimer to open it with. LapTimer will be started and will prompt you if the named file should be imported. Answer with OK and wait the import to finish.

Have there been any issues in sending individual laps via Bluetooth? In the past I have had no problem sending individual laps from my iPod3 to my iPad. Now, none of my three units (including my new iPod5) can find one another even though Bluetooth is set to "on" for all.
