Autocross mode starts timing at finish line

Are you guys walking the whole course to get to the finish line from the start line?

Or are you:
1) naming the file
2) go to the start line and press "set start line"
3) select "standing start"
4) walking over to the finish line and press "set finish line"

I just used the app yesterday with no problems for all 4 of my runs.

Make sure to keep the app in the background until the event starts (at least for iPhone 4s). Do not close the app. Found out if I closed the app, my heat would start, I stick my iPhone in my mount and started the program it would get all funky. Also helps to close all other apps, put the phone into "Do Not Disturb" mode and make sure you have enough space for videos.

I recommend to send LapTimer to background (home button) once the track is set up. This makes any changes to the database persistent, so even when ugly things happen, you will not lose your track setup. It is fine to pull it forward immediately, but a short "send to back" makes it save.
