How to connect it all ?

Post by mbbnyc »

Ok I am so confused. I have the following items iPhone5s, Vbox sport, two GoPro hero 3 black. I know there is a way to make it all run through Harry's. Or is it easier to just control the GoPros separately and run harrys on it's own. I want to have harrys shoot video as well. I have the mounts for all of this.

What is the best most streamlined way to do it ? I don't like spending a lot of set up time in the morning at the track.

Also what's possible with all this stuff ? I feel like there is functionality that I don't even know is there.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The full documentation on GoPro integration is available directly from LapTimer's home page: http://www.gps-laptimer.com/LapTimerDoc ... hapter.pdf Please search the text for "GoPro experimental support" or simply "GoPro". Please not it is not possible to connect more than one GoPro at a time, they both create their own wifi network and the iPhone can join one at a time only. The HERO remote control seems to use a different wireless protocol to start / stop several cams at a time.

Thank you Harry for the answer, Seems the best way to do it if I am going to have more than one GoPro is to run the two systems separate. Have the iPhone and use the wifi remote to control the two GP cams.
