LapTimer hangs with "Video recorded is passed to Photo app…"

This is a problem with iOS4.1. Update your device's OS to iOS4.2 (or later) to work around this.
- Harry
Update:
The problem is not yet solved. Reasons for this situation can be:
- iOS < 4.2
- Not enough space left on device
- Video recorded too long to be processed on these small devices (max tested is around 9 minutes)

Hi Harry,
First of all, thanks for this great product, and the work you're doing...
I am having the issue you're describing about transfering overlayed videos to Photo app : this never ends, the waiting cursor is running, but nothing is created into the Photo app.
I am runing iOS 4.3 on a 3GS iPhone. Version of your application is v13.0 Pro.

What is the length of the video? Have you checked the memory available on your device?

Hi Harry,
Sorry for the double post.
The video I am trying to overlay is 17 min lenght. There are 16 Go available on the iPhone. Let me know if you need any other details.

Hi, it seems the longer the videos are, the higher the risk for this 'Transfer for ever' situation is. The max length I've tested is Nordschleife, which is 8-9 minutes. It takes quite some time but works (at least for my configurations). I will check the general mechanism and search for another solution. Just did some testing with Dropbox which takes long too... Maybe I keep the videos recorded within LapTimer... We will see. Thanks anyway, I'll let you know about the progress.

Harry, thanks for the awesome app.
I had this problem once out of about ten runs on Sunday while autocrossing. The time of video recording from start to finish was less than 50 sec. There is over 16 GB of memory left on iPhone 4 running OS 4.3.1. I had to shut the phone off and reboot to recover. I am running with Jailbreak, BStack GPS, and an external Bluetooth GPS (i-Blue 737) with up to a 10Hz update rate.

I've also had these hang-ups, but only if the overlaying process was interrupted by a call, sms etc. Maybe a hint for you guys?
