Harry's GPS Suite Forum

Hi new to the forum and new car racing and lap timer technology.My son and i are racing two fiat 125 in NZ .One car is fitted with a Race Technology DL1 mk 2 datalogger but has no interface to read lap times in real time. Works really well but you need to down load the information or carry the computer in the car to be able to read . Was thinking of purchasing a Dash 3 display unit but would still need something for the other car. Saw that some of you are running race technology laptimers with a cell phone and Harrys laptimer appt. So am wondering what i require to down load off the DL1 to an Android phone using harrys laptimer .If this all works ok will purchase a seperate gps for the other car .All help gratefully recieved . thanks fiat 125

Hi,

The only format that can be imported into LapTimer is its own proprietary format named .hlptrl (which is actually a XML file). In case you can transform whatever the DL1 offers as an export format, this is the way to go.
