No OBD but full PID list

Looking for some help please :)

Latest version of Laptimer, 'VLINK' wifi OBD II dongle, iPhone 5.

Works just as expected in a BMW Z4 3.0l, I have speed, rpm, throttle with little configuration difficulty. Excellent, I am impressed :)

In the other car, a MINI JCW GP, it doesn't seem to receive any data and all values show 0. In settings the connection for OBD is green. I have tried KIWI Wifi and custom. In the settings I have a full PID list showing as available and using Rev Lite or other apps they can 'see' the car and log rpm etc.

I have had a few connections in the MINI that show a very small PID list, which appear to be part of an initial handshake or communication? If I restart the app usually it will then show the full list of PIDS. Maybe I have a underlying connection issue with the MINI? Is there a way to see if there is good data flow?

Only PIDs with numbers in brackets are answered. Looking into the above screenshot, the initialization (AT commands) pass, LapTimer requests PIDs available (all the PID01-20 etc calls), then DTCCNT is answered but anything past this PID not. The reply times are extremely high, mostly above a second and up to 4. These replies should come in between 50 and 200ms, not 3950ms... So my overall guess is there is a problem on connection level, and probably one in reading PIDs / compatibility. Please check viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1500 on debugging the later. There is not a lot you can do on the wifi connection, but you may reset both the dongle and the iPhone and try again.
