Track Map Not Smooth?

How come in this video the track map looks jagged but in the 2nd video (taken earlier in day, the map looks smooth -- as it should be?)

Only this I can think of was in the first video I turned off the external GPS device because it was making HLT act buggy (I had sessions in between where GPS was not detected and as a result it did not record a few sessions).
