Apologies for the newbie question, but is there any difference in refresh speed between BT and Wifi? What are the benefits of Wifi, considering the BT readers can be had for $8 with a jailbroken iPhone vs $85 for Wifi? Are there feature differences, and/or is there any difference for Laptimer?

I also have a lead on a GoPoint GL1. This would be going on a Golf R, in case it matters. any help welcome!
