Analog Data logging

Does Lap Timer Pro support any data logging from devices other than OBDII?

I searched the web briefly for a blue tooth data logger for analog sensor monitoring, but came up short.

Would be cool to log steering position and brake pedal force on my friend's F500 race car.

Not using a stock version. The main problem is to find some hardware that can both capture the named data, and get connected to an iPhone. Custom integrations are a huge effort (I have done this for a custom project based on LapTimer).

PLX has sensor modules which can be connected to the Wifi Adapter:

Unfortunately they don't provide Modules for PIDs that are already part of OBD2 (like revs, throttle position etc.). If they had those, we could "retro fit" OBD2 to older cars or am I wrong?

what is the list of iMFD sensors?

Hi,

On the RacingTach: I thought about using a similar approach to sync video (audio) and data recordings automatically. Oddly, looking into the app's rating, this mechanism seems to not work reliantly so far... I believe it should be feasible, but it is certainly something for a sound specialist. I keep it on the list and may contact RacingTach on potential cooperation. On the analog sensor: there are tons of systems out there. Without someone providing this data either through OBD or any wifi transponder, I will not be able to add it to LapTimer. I have several discussions with hardware manufacturers ongoing on things beyond OBD, but it is by far to early to communicate.

I can imagine that there would be too much other noise (on track especially) to sync the video?

Would be good if there was a system that converted analogue signals (from any sensor) to OBD to use this system. Would be handy for motorcycles, Karts and cars without OBD2
