Video Start Trigger

In an attempt to program for "no-hands" operation, how about a new trigger? One to start the video recording (ahead of the start trigger).

Also another vote for background recording for visible timer while recording.

Since so many users (me included) have missed the settings>privacy>photos>ON instructions, please include the path in the warning pop-up or default it ON at installation.

Harald, Thank you so very much for a product that is so cool. I am going to enjoy this a lot.

Thanks for the feedback. The video trigger is on my list like background video recording, both for v18.

I'll change the alert for version 17 but can't change the setting to a default ON. All privacy settings are not changeable for apps, that would workaround privacy :-)

You likely already thought about it: Not only a trigger to start video, but one to stop. So one can record only certain parts of the track.
Also, since I'm looking forward to the multi cam feature, there should be triggers to switch to a certain cam, a random cam (execluding the current one), a random cam (including the current one, thus maybe switching cams, maybe not). Of course, these would have to be optional. Not everybody wants to have cams switched all the time.

This again show clearly we will never run out of ideas :-D Thanks for proposing, lets see which ideas will make it to future versions. LapTimer always started with a basic feature set and has evolved over time. Thanks again and let me know how you like the start!
