If you look at a native HLT lap file, all the elapsed times are in MM:SS.00 format. Harry will have to comment on whether HH:MM:SS.00 would be valid.
At his point so close to the SSCC, I don't want to make this big of a change to the the spreadsheet. I would suggest you break up your test into smaller lengths.

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally
good advice, thanks, Deven.
I haven't tested yet to see if 83:30.00 would import, but HH definitely caused an import problem, and 23:30.00 is just a wrong number (off by 60 minutes), so I don't see how it would actually work as a relativeToStart and lapTime value.
good thought on testing with a smaller length. That is what we will do. Thanks again.

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally
I need some help with loading the track and lap into HLT.
Background:
I have downloaded the sscclap.xml and sscctrack.xml files from a previous post.
I compressed the files using 7z.exe (along with the required 7z.dll) to create the following files:
sscclap.hlptrz
sscctrack.hpoiz
I then transferred these files to my mobile device. I placed them in the download directory.
When I open either the lap or track file, Harry's LapTimer application will open.
However, I have a problem with the track.
Under Lap List I see a heading for SSCC. Under the SSCC heading, there is one lap.
I can view the lap data.
When I go back to the main menu in HLT, I click "Load Track" --> "Select Track". When I search on "SSCC", there are no results. The track does not appear to exist.
I have also tried this with my own track/lap produced using the HLT3.11.xls spreadsheet. I get the same result. The lap data shows up under "Lap List", but the track does not appear to exist.
What's happening, and how can I fix this problem?
Mobile Device Information:
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4
Operating System: Android 4.4.2
This tablet has a built-in GPS receiver
Thank you for the help! I really want to get this setup working. I plan to use the procedure to produce a point-to-point track/lap for the Big Bend Open Road Race in Texas.

Hi Brent,
POISet import from Downloads (or Dropbox) seems to be broken with the current Android version.
I plan to submit a bugfix release in a few days. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
