BAFX seems to be a retailer. The devices shown are cheap Chinese dongles - most probably without a unique MAC address and any certificates. As you will most probably know, I do not recommend plugging stuff like that to your car's bus. I recommend to stick with genuine devices instead. In case you have no objection in this type of dongles, you may go with it just like any other cheap copy.

I got the (blue) Vgate Scan, works well. Had a problem with BAFX staying connected.

Blue Vgate stopped working got flacky, trying scan tool brand.
