Having same issue with iOS 6 and Iphone 4. I udestarnd the workaround is to put file on dropbox and to import it from there ?

Yes, that's the current workaround. Version 17 has a workaround included: it is not using the .hvehl (= XML) format but instead uses a compressed format named .hvehz As mentioned above, this seems to be a problem in iOS.
