Given how slow the DSC can be to kick in, I suspect the BMW bus is not very quick! :)

Understood on the integration, as I said, am happy to join in with any testing!

Received my BT1 last night. First problem I've got is that it doesn't seem to work!

Looks very nice and low key though. Got some troubleshooting to do, but I'm hopeful it's a good solution!

Getting ready to order, just not sure which is better - cabled or BT? I will be pairing with external GPS, so does cabled seem to be the best route?

I just ordered my BTS-1 as well, and am downloading LapTimer Pro as I type this. I'll be using it for autocross events with an iPod Touch 3g and either the Tom Tom mount, or the Dual Bluetooth GPS. I have both.

If you use cabled one, you won't be able to charge iPhone while using LapTimer...
For sure cabled version is better in terms of resources, reactivity...

I was looking for the following cable : male dock port to (female dock port + USB).
This would allow us to use a dock device (the GL1 !) while charging the iPhone using the USB port !
But I did not find such a cable...

If you have it, please post the link ;)

Thank you very much !

:!:
I just found an adapter :

A cable would be better as we would not have 2 big dock connectors directly plugged on the iPhone, it's not so convenient and nice...
But the principle is here !

That's perfect, you're right !
I watched some videos on Youtube, we clearly see the charging logo on the top of the iPhone screen while GL1 is plugged !
Perfect !

So I think that between the BT1 and the GL1, I would choose the GL1 : you won't have to take care of your charger, GL1 will charge for you !
And cable is a better connexion than BlueTooth.

But but but...
I was thinking about another thing : choosing between a cabled OBD and a cabled GPS, I would prefer a cabled GPS.
GPS data is much more important than OBD data...
Imagine you buy a Bad-Elf GPS (a 10Hz cabled GPS), you would then have to choose a BT1...

Well, not so easy to choose if we look at all the necessary accessories !

Harry, perhaps you have an idea about the best configuration ever ?

I have my favorite here: Harry's Choice
The goPoint is not supported currently, I will add it once it works.

Harry,

Thank you !
And if you would have to choose between a cabled GPS and a cabled OBD, which one would you prefer ?

Thx !
