Use the New Track assistant, it does exactly this. gplxraver's approach will work too but is more sensible with respect to positions set, corridor and the day's GPS accuracy. In case you have mastered the trigger mechanic, it is fine, but it can get pretty cumbersome otherwise.

Harry,

I haven't had a problem with using a 5m corridor width at an autocross since I started doing it. It's not like you're going to come back to the same course a month or a year later and expect the POI's to still work. Setting the location of a trigger at one edge of the course or even a meter or two beyond will probably still cause a trip when you want it and will help a lot to prevent a trip when you don't want it. Autocross gates are frequently not a whole lot wider than a car.

Yes, as the time of POI definition and driving is comparably short for AXes, GPS drift will not kick in that much and narrow corridor are more likely to work.

Thanks, Harry...It would be great if you had a step-by-step guide for this...I'm assuming that the "Track Assistant" works for Autocross, but I've never used it.

I'll report back tomorrow after I've tried it out.

All the assistants come with a description of each step.

You can use the New Track Assistant - it creates tracks with one Stop/Go trigger - usually used for the start finish line of a closed loop circuit.
